The Laschet cabinet designates the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia under Prime Minister Armin Laschet . After the state elections on May 14, 2017, the CDU and FDP formed a black-yellow coalition . It has exactly one vote majority in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament .

The coalition agreement was presented on June 16, 2017. Laschet was elected Prime Minister on June 27, 2017. On June 30, 2017, the cabinet ministers were sworn in and the state secretaries appointed. The State Secretary and Head of Office in the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration Andreas Bothe was only appointed on July 6, 2017.
