The Cabinet Rüttgers made from 2005 to 2010, the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia .

In the state elections on May 22, 2005, the CDU received 7.7 percentage points more votes than the SPD. The state parliament of the 14th electoral term comprised 187 members .

Jürgen Rüttgers was elected Prime Minister on June 22, 2005 . The new cabinet was appointed on June 24, 2005.

Handover

With the meeting of the 15th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia on June 9, 2010, the respective offices of the Prime Minister and the Minister ended. The members of the government were acc. Art. 62 of the state constitution until the takeover of office by the successor government on July 15, 2010.
