The state electoral district of Düsseldorf IV is an electoral district in Düsseldorf in North Rhine-Westphalia . It comprises the districts 9 ( Wersten , Himmelgeist , Holthausen , Reisholz , Hassels , Benrath , Urdenbach , Itter ) and 10 ( Garath , Hellerhof ) as well as the districts Vennhausen and Unterbach , which belong to the district 8 .

The constituency is represented in parliament by the directly elected MP Peter Preuss (CDU), who was able to win back the mandate from the SPD after five years. In contrast, the previous constituency member Walburga Benninghaus (SPD) and the Green candidate Martin-Sebastian Abel missed the re-entry into the state parliament because their respective list position did not move. The previous pirate MP Marc Olejak resigned from parliament because his party failed to pass the 5% hurdle .
