Walburga Benninghaus (born January 9, 1955 in Düsseldorf ) is a German social worker . She was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia ( SPD ) from 2012 to 2017.
biography
Walburga Benninghaus completed a degree in social education with a degree in social education. She works as a social pedagogue in the training of young adults.
politics
Walburga Benninghaus joined the SPD in the 1980s. She has been a member of the Düsseldorf City Council since 1992, and has been the deputy leader of her party since September 2009. In the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 , she won a direct mandate in the Düsseldorf IV state electoral district . In the next election she lost the constituency to Peter Preuss .
