Franz Ebert (politician)

Franz Karl Ebert (born November 11, 1940 in Würzburg ; † April 20, 2015 in Aachen ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Franz Ebert graduated from high school in 1960 . In 1962 he finished his military service . Ebert was a lieutenant in the reserve. In 1968 he completed his studies in business administration at the University of Cologne with a degree in business administration. From 1968 to 1970 he worked as a managing director assistant, after which he became managing director of the retail association district Aachen e. V.

politics

Franz Ebert had been a member of the CDU since 1969. From 1976 to 1980 he was a member of the executive district board of the CDU Aachen, then again a member of the board of the CDU district association Aachen. He acted as deputy state chairman of the CDU SME Association Rhineland. In 1979 he was elected to the City Council of Aachen . In 1981 Ebert became a member of the federal board of the SME and Business Association .

From May 28, 1975 to May 29, 1985, Franz Ebert was a directly elected member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 002 Aachen-Stadt II and constituency 002 Aachen II (in the 8th electoral term and the 9th electoral term ).
