Volker Kruse

Volker Kruse (born March 19, 1954 in Helmstedt ) is a German sociologist .

From 1972 to 1979 Kruse studied history, social science, philosophy and education at the universities of Marburg, Freiburg and Bielefeld. He completed his studies in 1988 with a doctorate in sociology at Bielefeld University . After completing his habilitation , he became an associate professor in Bielefeld. His subjects are the history of sociology and sociological theories .
