Reinhold Trinius

Reinhold Trinius (* 10. June 1934 in Langendorf , Kreis Zeitz ; † 24. August 2018 ) was a German politician of the SPD .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1952, Trinius studied German and history in Halle / Saale , Münster and Tübingen and was active in the school service from 1960 to 1975, most recently as senior teacher.

politics

Reinhold Trinius became a member of the SPD in 1961. From 1978 he acted as deputy chairman of the SPD district of Ostwestfalen-Lippe. From 1969 to 1972 he was a member of the municipal council of Barkhausen and from 1973 to 1985 a member of the council of the city of Porta Westfalica .

Trinius was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for six legislative periods from 1970 to 2000 . He entered the state parliament as a directly elected candidate: in the seventh electoral period for constituency 148 Minden II, in the eighth electoral term for constituency 147 Minden-Lübbecke III and in the ninth , tenth , eleventh and twelfth electoral terms for the constituency 111 Minden-Lübbecke II. From June 1985 to January 2000 Trinius was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group.

Other memberships: Member of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation , member of the board of the Wittekindshof and member of Amnesty International .
