Christine Gudorf

Christine E. Gudorf (* 1949 in Louisville , Kentucky ) is an American Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Gudorf studied Roman Catholic theology at Indiana University , where she received her bachelor's degree in 1971. She received her Masters and PhD in theology from Columbia University . After graduating, she taught at the Xavier University of Cincinnati . She joined Florida International University in 1993 as a professor . She retired in 2015.

In 1984 she signed the A Catholic Statement on Pluralism and Abortion campaign that appeared in the New York Times .

Gudorf has been married since 1968 and has two children.
