Christine Stahl (born October 15, 1957 in Nuremberg ) is a former Bavarian member of the state parliament for Alliance 90 / The Greens and vice-president of the Bavarian state parliament .

Career

After graduating from high school, Stahl studied social pedagogy. Then she began a law degree and graduated with the state examination.

Christine Stahl has been a member of the Greens since 1986. In 1994 she moved to the city council of Nuremberg. From 1996 to 1998 she held the office of group leader.

Christine Stahl was elected to the state parliament for the first time in 1998 via the district list Middle Franconia ( election 1998 ). On September 21, 2003 she was re-elected to the state parliament. From December 2000 to 2003 she was chairwoman of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Bavarian state parliament. In the state elections on September 28, 2008 , she was re-elected to the state parliament via the district list of Middle Franconia ; in the Nuremberg-East district she received 11.4% of the first votes. After the state elections in 2013 , for which she no longer stood, she ended her political career.

Christine Stahl was a city councilor on the supervisory board of the workshop for the disabled, in the employment company NORIS and in the housing association WBG. She is a member of the associations LSVD and Die Tafel eV as well as the Aids-Hilfe Erlangen-Nürnberg-Fürth and the German Police Union Foundation.

It was her concern to present Franconia in the Bavarian state parliament. In the constitutional committee of the Bavarian state parliament, she was the only one to vote at the end of 2005 for a citizens' petition by the Franconian Federation to change the name of the Free State of Bavaria to Bavaria-Franconia . The Franconian Confederation awarded her the Franconian Medal in 2009.
