Christian Diakonisches Hilfswerk Stephanus eV is the mission organization of the Brotherhood of the Free Evangelical Christian Churches (BFECG) in Germany.

The CDH-Stephanus was founded on November 9th, 1989 in Speyer and is mainly supported by emigrants. The name "Stephanus" has biblical origins. Stephen was a deacon at the time the church was founded and had taken on the task of distributing the sacrificed gifts to people in need and poverty. The association has chosen two hands that share a piece of bread as a logo for its work. They are the best way of illustrating the tasks of the relief organization. Aid transports are carried out regularly to deliver urgently needed relief supplies to hospitals, homes for the disabled and old people's homes, as well as food and clothing to people in need, such as B. Street children , needy and poor people to distribute free of charge.

The aid transports mainly go to the CIS states Kyrgyzstan , Moldova , Russia , Ukraine and Belarus as well as Romania . In close cooperation with the Inter-Mission , more than 500 children are supported in children's homes in India. A new mission field is spreading to Africa and other countries, especially countries affected by disasters.
