Christoph Binninger

Christoph Binninger (born December 30, 1964 in Mannheim ) is a German priest and theologian .

Life

He studied theology and philosophy in Mainz, Rome, Freiburg and Munich. He was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Mainz on October 10, 1990. At the Pontifical Gregorian University he was born in 1997 with the work “Mysterium inhabitationis trinitatis. MJ Scheeben's theological examination of the question of the manner of the supernatural connection between the divine persons and the righteous ” in Dogmatik zum Dr. theol. PhD . With the work “'You are a selected gender.' Called to build the kingdom of God among men. The lay question in the Catholic discussion in Germany around 1800 up to the encyclical 'Mystici Corporis' (1943) ” was habilitated in 2002 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , where he taught until 2015 as a private lecturer . Since 2004 he has worked in the theological training of the clergy in the diocese of Regensburg and in pastoral care in the parish of St. Josef (Regensburg). He has been Professor of Dogmatics at the Heiligenkreuz University of Applied Sciences since 2013 .

His scientific focus is on ecclesiology, anthropology and the history of theology of the 19th century.

Since 1987 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KAV Capitolina Rome .
