Christoph Hanses (born October 6, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player . He was used both in midfield and in the attack .

Career

In the summer of 1983, Hanses switched from the A-youth of TSV Dörverden to the amateurs of SV Werder Bremen. In the 1986/87 season he was appointed to the Bundesliga squad by coach Otto Rehhagel. He played four games in the Bundesliga . There is also an appearance in the DfB Cup and in the Champions League.

For the 1990/91 season he moved to SV Meppen in the 2nd Bundesliga after various injuries (including cartilage damage in the knee joint, ruptured archilles tendon) . For the Meppener he scored 7 goals in 34 games.

After two seasons, Hanses was reamateurised in the summer of 1992 and joined Prussia Hameln .
