Christoph von Leuchtenberg (* after 1502; † March 14, 1554 in Regensburg ) was titular landgrave of Leuchtenberg and served as an officer in the service of Albrecht Alkibiades of Brandenburg-Kulmbach .

He was the son of Johann IV and his mother Margareta von Schwarzburg. One of his brothers was the later reigning Landgrave Georg III.

Like his brother, Leuchtenberg was one of the supporters of Albrecht Alkibiades von Brandenburg-Kulmbach . He was an officer in its service. When Albrecht Alkibiades marched against Electoral Saxony on behalf of Charles V in the course of the Schmalkaldic War in 1546 , Christoph was captured together with Albrecht Alkibiades. After his release he entered the clergy and later became prior.

After Albrecht Alkibiades again undertook military campaigns, Christoph von Leuchtenberg left the monastery again and entered the service of the margrave again. He belonged to the crew of the Plassenburg . A mutiny broke out there by the mercenaries who demanded their outstanding wages. Christoph von Leuchtenberg successfully asked his brother for money so that the troops could be paid.

Some time later he gave up military service for health reasons.
