Christopher Czech

Christopher Czech (born April 5, 1989 in Bochum ) is a German canoeist .

Career

Czech has been practicing Canadian sport since 2002 on Lake Kemnader , the training ground of his club, KC Wicking Bochum . Two years later he was appointed to the youth national team for the first time. The sporting highlight was in 2007 the participation in the Junior World Championship for canoeists in Račice u Štětí (Czech Republic) with a 2nd place in the four-man canoe (C 4) over 1000 m. At national level, Czech was German champion in the four-man canoe over 200 m and in the C 8 over 500 m in 2007. Czech is in the senior squad of the German Canoe Association. He leads the paddle on the left.
