Christopher Fiori

Christopher Fiori (born May 13, 1980 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German business economist and sports manager. From 2016 to 2019 he was managing director of the Kickers Offenbach football club .

Life

education

After his Abitur (1999) and subsequent military service, Fiori studied business administration with a focus on culture, leisure and sports management at the Reinhold-Würth University of Heilbronn University in Künzelsau. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in business administration. During his studies he gained experience with concert promoters and operators of multi-functional arenas.

From 2011 to 2013 Fiori completed an MBA with a focus on sports economics at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena .

In April 2005, Fiori took up his position as Business Manager of Stadion Frankfurt Management GmbH, the newly founded operating company of the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt . As part of this activity, Fiori was responsible not only for commercial management, but also for the stadium user at the time, Frankfurt Galaxy, as well as all major concerts. In 2009 he was appointed authorized signatory of the company and in 2012 was nominated for the Stadium Business Award in the “Rising Star” category (management staff under 35 years of age).

From 2013 to April 2014, Fiori worked in Abu Dhabi as Operations Director for the Mubadala Arena project (formerly FGB Arena). He was primarily responsible for advice on operational issues during construction.

From July 2015 to November 2016, Fiori was the authorized signatory and head of organization & stadium management at FSV Frankfurt , responsible for the areas of organization, marketing, personnel and stadium operations.

After the relegation of FSV Frankfurt from the 2nd Bundesliga, Fiori became managing director of Kickers Offenbach in November 2016 and worked in this role until August 2019.

Since 2014, Fiori has also been an independent consultant, overseeing projects in Hungary, Poland, Georgia and the " Rock am Ring " music festival .

Activity as a lecturer

In addition to his professional activity, Fiori has been a lecturer at various universities such as the Reinhold-Würth University , the DHBW Mannheim and the Friedrich Schiller University since 2007 .
