Chthonios (son of Poseidon)

Chthonios ( Greek  Χθόνιος ) is in Greek mythology a son of Poseidon and Syme , the daughter of Ialysus .

Diodor reports that the Carian island of Syme was settled from Knidos under the leadership of Chthonios .
