The Royal Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy ( Thai โรงเรียน นาย ร้อย พระ จุลจอมเกล้า , RTGS : Rongrian Nairoi Phra Chulachomklao, pronunciation: [ roːŋrian naːjrɔːj pʰráʔ t͡ɕùʔláʔt͡ɕɔːmklâw ]; English Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, CRMA ) is the military academy of the Thai army .

It is located in Nakhon Nayok . The academy was founded in 1887 based on the model of German military schools and is named after the then King Rama V , who carried the throne name Chulachomklao. In 1951, the future Prime Minister Sarit Thanarat reformed the curriculum on the model of the United States Military Academy at West Point. This was part of an "Americanization" of the army.

  • General Surayud Chulanont , Prime Minister 2006-08 (graduating class 12, 1965)
  • General Prawit Wongsuwan , Commander-in-Chief of the Army 2004–05, Minister of Defense 2008–11 (graduating class 17, 1969)
  • General Sonthi Boonyaratglin , Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces 2005-07, Junta Leader 2006 (graduating class 17, 1969)
  • General Anupong Paochinda , Commander in Chief of the Army 2007-10 (graduating class 21, 1972)
