The Church for All Nations is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church. It's located on 57th Street southwest of Columbus Circle in New York's Hell's Kitchen , Manhattan . The congregation belongs to the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod .

history

The church building was built in 1886/87 by the architect Francis Hatch Kimball in the Victorian neo-Gothic style for a Catholic-Apostolic congregation . In the 1990s, the congregation could no longer maintain the building and in 1995 gave it away to the Lutheran Life Journey Ministries . In 1997 the building was renamed the Church for All Nations .
