A churrería (pronunciation [ ʧurreˈria ]) or porrería (also called Fábrica de churros o porras ) is a shop or stand in which churros and porras are handcrafted and sold, also together with drinking chocolate . Sometimes other fried desserts such as buñuelos , but also potato chips and popcorn , as well as other hot drinks such as milk coffee are offered.

These types of shops are usually relatively small, some are street stalls or food trucks , which are usually found in busy places such as large squares or train stations.
