Cipriano Esteves Ferreira

Cipriano Esteves Doutel Ferreira is an East Timorese politician and a member of the Partidu Libertasaun Popular (PLP).

Career

On September 29, 2017, Ferreira was appointed State Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries . The swearing-in took place on October 3rd. Since the PLP is in opposition to the VII. Government under Prime Minister Marí Alkatiri of FRETILIN , the PLP has temporarily excluded Ferreira and the other PLP members in the cabinet from party events. Ferreira's tenure as Secretary of State ended with the assumption of the Eighth Government of East Timor on June 22, 2018.
