The house Citadellstraße 21 in Dusseldorf is a Grade II listed building .
description
Jörg Heimeshoff particularly describes the exterior architecture: According to this, the building was built in 1698 as a three-storey house with a courtyard wing. The facade is divided into three axes, with the right axis being used by the entrance. The windows on the first floor have beams above the windows. The ground floor windows have profiled bezels and were enlarged in 1870; the cornices were renewed. The window sills on the first floor are interconnected. The building has a gable roof. Josef Kleesattel is particularly concerned with the interior architecture, which according to Heimeshoff was designed in the baroque style. A picture by Josef Kleesattel shows an anteroom with a figure of Mary. The baroque interior design was lost during a renovation in 1980.
