Citgo is a US oil company based in Houston . It is a 100% subsidiary of the Venezuelan state PDVSA .

Citgo was founded in Oklahoma in 1910 and was taken over by the PDVSA in two stages from 1986 to 1990. It operates refineries in Corpus Christi , Lake Charles and Lemont, IL with a daily capacity of 749,000 barrels (119,081 cubic meters), as well as a distribution network of 6,500 independent filling stations .
