Life

Consecrated Bishop of Glandèves on December 19, 1593, he took possession of his cathedral in January of the following year. In 1599 he assisted in the ordination of Bishop Barthélémy Camelin of Fréjus . On February 7, 1609, in the presence of Archbishop Honoré de Laurens ' von Embrun , he reorganized his diocese, which had been ruined by the wars of religion. He united the priories and other benefices with the archbishop's canteen, on the one hand to compensate his canons for the losses suffered by the wars of religion and on the other hand to involve them in the construction of the cathedral in Entrevaux . Bishop Isnard died in Nice on May 11, 1612.
