Clara Löh née Strohm (* 1981 in Stuttgart ) is a German mathematician .

Live and act

Löh began studying mathematics at the University of Konstanz in 1999 . After completing her intermediate diploma, she moved to Münster University in 2001 to specialize in topology . There she obtained her diploma in mathematics in 2004. In 2007 she received her doctorate from Wolfgang Lück on the subject of Homology and Simplicial Volume . Afterwards, Löh was a temporary academic advisor specializing in topology at the University of Münster .

Clara Löh has been a professor at the University of Regensburg since October 2010 . Since 2014 she has been researching in the Collaborative Research Center 1085 Higher Invariants and from 2015 in the Graduate School 1692 Curvature, Cycles, and Cohomology . In addition, she coordinates the mathematics student circle for mathematics-loving students in grades 7–12. In 2018 she was awarded the prize for good teaching at the state universities in Bavaria by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art .

Clara Löh is working with the computer scientist and Haskell expert Dr. Andres Löh is married and has one daughter.
