The Claridge Terrace is a terrace located in the East Antarctic Victoria Land , an average of 1050 m high . It lies between Mount JJ Thomson and the north face of the Taylor Valley .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1998 after the New Zealand soil scientist Graeme Geoffrey Carré Claridge (* 1931) from the New Zealand Soil Bureau , whose scientific work in Antarctica from 1959 spanned a period of more than 35 years.
