Clark Peddicord

Clark Peddicord (born October 15, 1946 in Portland , Oregon) is an American theologian and philosopher .

Life

After graduating from the University of Idaho with a degree in biology , he went to Great Britain , newly married, with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru) for a three-year missionary assignment. Back in the USA, he studied theology in Chicago. Then he went back to Europe, this time to Germany.

From 1977 to 1984 he was in charge of Campus für Christus eV Germany . He then lived with his wife Ann for 10 years in an ecumenical community where their two daughters grew up. At the same time, Clark Peddicord was working on a doctoral thesis in the field of philosophy of science and received his doctorate in 1998 on the subject of “The Critique of Miracles by Immanuel Kant ” at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen .

Since 2006 he has lived and worked with his wife in Haus Nazareth in Berlin and runs the Philosophia Europa eV association
