Anastasia Hartleib from laut.de gave Montenegro Zero four out of a possible five points. The album is "pretty catchy" and is "significantly more poppy than Haiyti's previous releases". The rapper “lets off steam as always, without seeming to run out of breath” and is especially convincing with “her changeability and effortless flexibility: while she whispers a hook with a breaking voice, the next moment she lets trap towers collapse brutally and sufficient critical observations of our time ”.

Alexander Barbian from the website rap.de also rated Montenegro Zero positively. In terms of content, Haiyti undertakes “a furious balancing act between the worlds, revealing inner turmoil and tremendous mental cinema between hysterical instability and unscrupulous coolness” and creating “always strong atmospheres”. KitschKrieg's productions are also praised as “flawless and highly innovative precision work”, with “Haiyti's dominant voice being absolutely at the center of the action”. Overall, the album is “a mystery. A weird and yet extravagant unique item. "

On rappers.in , Montenegro Zero was rated five out of a possible six points. The album is an “indefinable, unclassifiable, sometimes pathetic, sometimes quite casual looking whole” and represents “the combination of the best of their last releases”. Thereby “the search for classic listening pleasure falls between all the screeching and the reverberant effects on the voice "difficult, but" it's just fun to listen to the innovative sound drafts and try to understand the concept or simply the idea behind the album ". KitschKrieg's productions are also praised.

Daniel Fersch from MZEE praised the album and wrote that Haiyti "is far more than a hype that could save itself over two years, but a unique and established artist."
