The Clark Point is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . It marks the northern limit of the entrance to Saint Andrews Bay .
Scientists on the HMS Endurance took a survey around 1999 . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2002. It is named after the British ornithologist Gerald Stanley Clark (1927–1999), leader of the Totorore expedition (1983–1986) to southern Chile and southern Georgia for the ornithological survey in these areas.
