Claude Arabo (born October 3, 1937 in Nice - † July 3, 2013 ) was a French saber fencer .

Claude Arabo was the most successful French fencer of the 1960s, winning the French championships in the saber singles five times .

In 1960 he took part in the Olympic Games in Rome for the first time and finished fourth in the individual. In 1962 he won bronze in singles at the World Championships in Buenos Aires . At his second Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he achieved his greatest success: He won silver in the individual behind Tibor Pézsa from Hungary after jump-off. With the team, he finished fourth.

He won bronze with the team at the 1965 World Championships in Paris, at the 1966 World Championships in Moscow and at the 1967 World Championships in Montreal as well. At his last Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 , his team finished fourth behind the teams from the USSR, Italy and Hungary, and in the individual he came ninth.
