Tibor Pézsa (* 15. November 1935 in Esztergom ) was a Hungarian saber - fencers . He won one gold and three bronze medals at the Olympic Games .

Tibor Pézsa took part in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and won the gold medal in the saber singles there. With the team he was able to reach fifth place. Four years later, at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City , Pézsa won bronze medals both individually and with the team. In Munich at the 1972 Summer Olympics , he was fifth in the individual. With the team he won bronze again.

At the 1962 World Championships in Buenos Aires he won silver with the team, in 1963 in Gdansk with the team bronze. At the 1966 World Cup , Pézsa was team world champion and runner-up in singles, at the 1967 World Cup he won silver with the team and bronze in singles. Tibor Pézsa became world champion in singles at the 1970 World Championships, with the team vice world champion.
