András Szatmári (born February 3, 1993 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian saber fencer .
successes
András Szatmári became European champion with the team in Novi Sad in 2018 . He had previously taken third place with her in 2015 in Montreux and 2017 in Tbilisi . In 2019, he won the silver medal in Düsseldorf . At world championships he also won bronze in the team competition in Kazan in 2014 and silver in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 . In 2017 he not only repeated the success of the previous year with the team in Leipzig , but also celebrated his greatest success in individual with winning the title. In 2018 he won the bronze medal in the team competition in Wuxi . In 2019 , as in 2017 , he finished second in both individual and team competitions in Budapest . From 2015 to 2017 he was Hungarian individual champion three times in a row.
