Oh Sang-uk (born September 30, 1996 in Daejeon ) is a South Korean saber fencer .
successes
Oh Sang-uk became world champion three times in a row with the South Korean team: 2017 in Leipzig , 2018 in Wuxi and 2019 in Budapest . In 2019 he was also world champion in singles. At the Asian Games in Jakarta in 2018 , he also secured gold with the team, while he won silver in the singles after a final defeat against his compatriot Gu Bon-gil . Oh won the title at Asian Championships four times, each of which in 2016 in Wuxi, 2017 in Hong Kong and 2019 in Tokyo with the team, and in 2019 also in the individual. There is also a bronze medal with the team in Bangkok in 2018 .
