György Nébald

György Nébald (born March 9, 1956 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian saber fencer , Olympic champion and six-time world champion.

Life

He is married to the Hungarian sword fencer Ildikó Mincza-Nébald . His brother Rudolf Nébald won the bronze medal with him at the 1980 Olympic Games .

In 1978 in Hamburg György Nébald became team world champion for the first time . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow , Nébald received bronze with the team.
