Lajos Werkner (between 1908 and 1912)

Lajos Werkner [ ˈlɒjoʃ ˈvɛrknɛr ] (born October 23, 1883 in Budapest ; † November 12, 1943 there ) was a Hungarian fencer .

He won the gold medal in saber fencing with the Hungarian team at the Summer Olympics in 1908 and 1912 . In the individual competition, he took 6th (1908) and 7th (1912).
