Ervin Mészáros (born April 2, 1877 in Budapest , Austria-Hungary , † May 21, 1940 ibid) was a Hungarian fencer .
Life
Ervin Mészáros took part in the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm with the saber in the individual and team competition. In the individual, he reached the final round together with six other Hungarians and an Italian and placed behind his compatriots Jenő Fuchs and Béla Békessy in third place, which he won the bronze medal. In the team competition he remained unbeaten with the Hungarian team and became Olympic champion .
His brother Lóránt Mészáros was also a fencer.
