Dino Urbani (born March 8, 1882 in Livorno , † May 9, 1958 in Varese ) was an Italian fencer .

Career

Dino Urbani took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp in three disciplines. In the individual competition with the sword, he was eliminated in the semi-finals as seventh in his group. In the team competition of saber fencing he remained with the Italian team without defeat and became Olympic champion together with Francesco Gargano , Aldo Nadi , Nedo Nadi , Oreste Puliti , Giorgio Santelli and Baldo Baldi . Urbani was also part of the Italian squad in the team competition with the sword, with which he also achieved first place. Together with Abelardo Olivier , Antonio Allocchio , Tullio Bozza , Giovanni Canova , Tommaso Costantino , Andrea Marrazzi , Aldo Nadi, Nedo Nadi and Paolo Thaon di Revel , Baldi won another gold medal.
