Éric Boisse (born March 14, 1980 in Clichy ) is a former French sword fencer . He is an Olympic champion and was world and European champion.
successes
Éric Boisse achieved his greatest successes with the team in particular. In terms of singles, he won the runner-up in the 2007 World Cup in Saint Petersburg . With the team he was in 2005 in Leipzig , in 2006 in Turin and in 2007 three consecutive world champion. He also won gold with the team at the 2002 European Championships in Moscow . At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens he reached the final with the team after victories over the United States and Germany . This won the French team against Hungary with 43:32, Boisse became Olympic champion together with Hugues Obry as well as Fabrice and Jérôme Jeannet . After the Olympic victory he was made a Knight of the Legion of Honor .
His father Philippe Boisse was also a fencer and was also Olympic and world champion.
