Giancarlo Cornaggia-Medici
Giancarlo Cornaggia-Medici (born December 16, 1904 in Milan , † November 23, 1970 ibid) was an Italian sword fencer . He won three gold medals at the Olympics and was world champion twice.

Cornaggia-Medici took part in the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam , where she won the gold medal with the Degen team. Four years later, at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , he became Olympic champion in singles and won silver with the team. At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , Cornaggia-Medici was team Olympic champion for the second time and won the bronze medal in the individual.
At the International Fencing Championships in Liège in 1930 he won silver with the team behind the team from Belgium, in 1931 he was team world champion in Vienna , in 1933 in Copenhagen as well, in 1934 in Warsaw it was silver behind the Hungarian team.
