Jean Piot

Jean Piot (born May 10, 1890 in Saint-Quentin , † December 15, 1961 in La Sauvetat ) was a French fencer and two-time Olympic champion .

The successful saber fencer Maurice Piot was his nephew.

Jean Piot took part in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam with the Saber team. At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , Piot won gold with both the epee and the foil team. In 1934 he won in Warsaw , the International Fencing Championships in 1934 with the epee team. At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin , Piot took part in the saber singles and with the team.
