Giancarlo Bergamini (born August 2, 1926 in Milan ) is a former Italian foil fencer . He became an Olympic and world champion.

Giancarlo Bergamini became the individual world champion in 1958 . He won another medal in 1954 with bronze. In the team competition he won the title in Luxembourg in 1954 and in Rome in 1955 . In addition, he was runner-up with her three times and was bronze twice. At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he reached the final round in singles, which he completed with 2: 6 wins in seventh place. He also moved into the final round with the team, in which the Italian team only had to admit defeat to France and won silver. Four years later in Melbourne he was again in the finals in both competitions. In the singles he won five of his seven battles and thus reached the second place.
