Marek Roman Dąbrowski (born November 28, 1949 in Gliwice ) is a former Polish foil fencer .

successes

Marek Dąbrowski was with the team in 1969 in Havana , 1971 in Vienna and 1974 in Grenoble vice world champion , in the individual he also achieved this success in Vienna in 1971. There were also third places each in 1970 in Ankara in the individual and in 1973 in Gothenburg with the team. Dąbrowski twice took part in the Olympic Games . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich , he finished sixth in the individual, while he reached the final against the Soviet Union with the team . The Polish team won it 9: 5, so that Dąbrowski was Olympic champion together with Arkadiusz Godel , Jerzy Kaczmarek , Lech Koziejowski and Witold Woyda . In 1976 he finished the individual competition in Montreal in ninth place. Poland took fifth place in the team competition.
