Andrea Cassarà

Andrea Cassarà (born January 3, 1984 in Passirano ) is an Italian foil fencer . Cassarà was Olympic champion at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens with the Italian foil team. In the individual competition he won the bronze medal. At the 2011 World Championships in Catania , Cassarà won the world title in the individual competition. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London , he was able to repeat the Olympic victory in the team competition, which was not in the 2008 Olympic program. Cassarà is a sports soldier for the Carabinieri .
