Jean-Noël Ferrari (born September 7, 1974 in Nice ) is a former French foil fencer .
successes
Jean-Noël Ferrari was with the team in 1999 in Seoul and 2001 in Nîmes champion . He also achieved second place with her in Lisbon in 2002 . At European Championships he won gold in the team competition in Bourges in 2003 , while he won bronze in singles in 1997 in Gdansk and 2003 in Bourges. Ferrari took part in the Olympic Games twice: at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , after winning against Cuba and Poland, he reached the final with the team . There, the French team defeated China with 45:44, so that Ferrari became Olympic champion together with Patrice Lhôtellier , Brice Guyart and Lionel Plumenail . In the individual competition, after losing to Ralf Bißdorf in the semifinals and Dmitri Shevchenko in the battle for bronze in fourth place, he just missed another medal win. In 2004 he finished fifth with the team in Athens .
