Ralf Bißdorf (born March 15, 1971 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German foil fencer .

The left-hander with a height of 1.94 m and a body weight of 76 kg has been practicing his sport since 1979. He won the silver medal in men's singles at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney . In 2002 Bißdorf became team world champion.

Further successes are his European championship titles in individual 1998 and 2006 as well as 1998 and 2001 with the team as well as 11 victories at world cup tournaments and a total of more than 50 finals. He also won the overall World Cup in the men's floret singles three times in a row (2000–2002). He led the world rankings in men's florets for more than 500 days. In addition, he won three bronze medals at the world championships with the team.

Ralf Bißdorf is supervised by trainer Thomas Zimmermann. From 1997 to 2005 he was chairman of the athletes' commission of the Fechtweltverband FIE and is the holder of the Silver Laurel Leaf of the Federal Republic of Germany.
