Jacques Noël ( April 6, 1920 , † October 2004 ) was a French foil fencer .

successes

Jacques Noël was world champion in the team competition in Brussels in 1953 . In between, he reached the final round unbeaten at the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , in which the French team also took first place without defeat, ahead of Italy and Hungary . Together with Jéhan Buhan , Jacques Lataste , Claude Netter , Christian d'Oriola and Adrien Rommel , he became Olympic champion .
