Angelo Scuri (born December 24, 1959 in Florence ) is a former Italian foil fencer .
successes
Angelo Scuri became world champion with the team in Sofia in 1986 after winning silver in Clermont-Ferrand in 1981 and bronze in Rome in 1982 . In 1981 he also won the bronze medal in singles. At the European Championships he was runner-up in singles in Foggia in 1981 and won bronze in Lisbon in 1983 . At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , he moved unbeaten with the team to the final, which was won against Germany 8: 7. Together with Andrea Borella , Stefano Cerioni , Mauro Numa and Andrea Cipressa , Scuri became Olympic champion .
