Wladislaw Jurjewitsch Pawlowitsch ( Russian Владислав Юрьевич Павлович ; born March 17, 1971 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian foil fencer .
successes
Wladislaw Pawlowitsch won the silver medal at the world championships in the team competition in The Hague in 1995 . A year later he took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta , where he reached 14th place in the individual competition. After victories over Hungary and Cuba, he moved into the final with the team , in which the Russian team beat Poland 45:40 . Together with Dmitri Shevchenko and İlqar Məmmədov , he became Olympic champion . Pavlovich fought for CSKA Moscow .
