Pietro Speciale (born September 29, 1876 in Palermo , † November 9, 1945 ibid) was an Italian fencer .
Life
Pietro Speciale took part in three Olympic Games . In 1908 in London he was eliminated in the individual of the epee fencing competition in the second round. In his second Olympic participation in 1912 in Stockholm he went to in foil fencing, where he first fought until the final round. With five wins in the final, he placed silver behind Nedo Nadi . In 1920 in Antwerp , he finished twelfth in the individual foil competition. With the team he remained undefeated throughout the competition and became Olympic champion .
