European Fencing Championships 2003

The European Championships in fencing in 2003 took place from June 29 to July 3 in Bourges place (France). A total of twelve competitions were held, namely individual and team competitions for women and men in epee, foil and saber. Since third place was not fought in the individual competitions and instead both semi-finalists shared third place, there were a total of twelve gold and silver medals and 18 bronze medals to be won. The most successful nation was Russia with a total of 13 medals.
