Tatjana Yuryevna Logunowa ( Russian Татьяна Юрьевна Логунова ; * 3. July 1980 in Moscow ) is a Russian epee - fencer . She won gold with the epee team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens . Tatiana Logunowa was also twice world champion with the team.

Career

At the Olympic Summer Games in Sydney in 2000 Tatiana Logunova took part in the epee singles and with the epee team. In the individual she reached fourth place, with the team she won the gold medal. In 2001 Logunowa took part in the fencing world championship in Nîmes , in 2003 the fencing world championship in Havana and won the title with the epee team. At the European Championships in Koblenz she won silver with the Degen team, in 2003 she was both individual European champion and with the team in Bourges . Tatiana Logunova took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and won the gold medal again with the Degen team. In the individual competition of the games, she could only reach thirteenth place. At the Fencing World Championships 2007 in Saint Petersburg Logunowa reached ninth place in the individual and second place with the team. In the 2006/2007 World Cup season she also won the singles in Nanjing , in the 2007/2008 season in Tauberbischofsheim and came second in Montreal . At the Olympic Summer Games in Beijing in 2008 there was only one single competition in the sword for the women. There Tatjana Logunowa finished only 17th after losing in the round of 32 to Sweden's Emma Samuelsson . At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 Logunova finished fourth with the team.
